When entering a competition, it is expected only the best are submitted. To receive three awards that are then recognized as the best of the best is something to be proud of. That is what OC Creative experienced when receiving news of their one Platinum and two Gold AVA Digital Awards for work completed last year. Of the 2,500 entries this year, entered from 18 countries, only 14% percent of those received a Platinum, and just around 20% the Gold Award.
OC is able to add these 2017 AVAs to their first AVA Platinum award received in early 2016. There is no trophy case in their office, and you won’t hear them bragging about these awards anytime soon, but Creative Director and President, Brian Oster says, “It is encouraging and humbling to be recognized from others outside your circle of influence. These awards came from an international association and they were based solely on merit and quality! This is a great confidence boost for our creative team and reminder to continue pushing our limits.”
OC Creative received a PLATINUM in the category of ‘Motion Graphics Product’ for their Fellowes video: Why Purify the Air? – AeroMax Professional; a GOLD in the category of ‘Nonprofit’ for their video mythbusting work on: Sycamore Library’s Top 5 Myths; and a second GOLD in the Product Marketing category for book trailer: Top Fuel for Life. The AVAs are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, an international organization of several thousand marketing, communication, and advertising professionals.
