Hey Huskie Fans

It’s been a great summer for the team to this point and it’s almost time to start thinking about Huskie Women’s Basketball again!  I wanted to make you aware of a very special premium experience for Women’s Basketball.  Coming next season, we are bringing back a great opportunity to be up close and personal and part of the action.  You will have the chance to purchase court side seats for all of our home games.

You can purchase your court side seat for all home games with a contribution of only $150 per seat, plus the price of your season ticket.  Including our exhibition game, we will have thirteen home games next season.  So, for less than an additional $12 per seat per game, you can be part of this newly enhanced game experience for women’s basketball.  Our concessionaire partner, Sodexo, will offer in-seat service for all court side seat holders so you can enjoy food, beverages and forty minutes of basketball without ever leaving the court.

As women’s basketball fans, you will recall that the 2016-17 season was one to remember and celebrate.  Some of the many highlights included:

  • First postseason appearance since 1995, earning an at-large berth to the WNIT
  • Advanced to first MAC Championship game since 1982
  • Six double-digit comebacks
  • Tied for the largest comeback in NCAA Postseason history (22 points) versus Ohio in the MAC Tournament Quarterfinals
  • Senior Ally Lehman recorded two triple-doubles and became the only player in MAC history with 1,000 points, 900 rebounds and 500 assists in a career
  • First 20+ wins season since the 1993-1994 season

You were all such a special part of this past season and helping to #restoretheglory.  Now moving forward you can continue to be #ALLiN as we strive to maintain and build on that success.

I hope you all have had a great summer and I look forward to seeing you as we gear up for a great 2017-2018 season.  Save the date for our first regular season home game which will be on Saturday, November 18th against Western Illinois University.  Full home schedule with game times and promotions will be coming soon!!

Ticket Allocation Notes: Please note, a request of tickets does not guarantee you will receive any tickets. Once we have received all requests for tickets, we will allocate within our ticket block based on the Benefit Allocation Process (Page 14 in 2017 Donor Guide).  The Benefit Allocation Process utilizes your Annual Giving Level and your priority points within your current giving level to determine priority for tickets, away game seat locations, parking and special events. For more information on the Benefit Allocation Process, or to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact the Huskie Athletic Fund at 815-753-1923.
